Background: What has come to be called the Breath of the Soul was originally received by Adam in session with a client. Looking back on the development of the counseling work up to that point, it is obvious why something as 1. simple, and 2. ubiquitously effective would have shown up at that time. There had been a growing trend to bring the powerful understandings of how consciousness itself evolves into the client's body awareness in whatever way was organic for them: chakras and meridians (energy), organs and blood (physiology), or emotions and feelings.
What we've come to understand since that time is the reason the Breath 'works' so well for so many, is that it creates an immediate reconciling between physicality/spatiality and one's inner state of
being at any given moment. It creates an immediate mirroring
to the self of what's actually going on in one's interior by reflecting
how one is holding one's exterior. This is true both on a
day-to-day level and also on a karmic-memory level.
Through its specially-designed, and strikingly simple breathing technique (which we call 'presence breathing'), the Practice forges within you an energetic relationship between outer and inner, quite beyond how the mind thinks about what is happening. There is an actual contact made within consciousness between the two. This is but one example of the move towards greater union / dialogue / contact / Eros. As an example, in a given Breath session, you may be guided to work with how your body memory and consciousness is 'holding' or relating to all that is spatially and symbolically 'above' you (ie. God, spiritual guidance, illumination, angels, and any phenomenon your consciousness perceives to be 'bigger' or 'higher' or 'above' you). In that case, you would be guided to focus on the physical space literally above you to evoke what's actually in you with regard to your relationship with these aspects.
Your practice of the Breath directly augments your relationship with your energy centers, the six main spheres or spaces which surround you at all times, and your moment-to-moment awareness.
The core Breath Practice works with the six spatial spheres surrounding you at all times in order to facilitate your:
1. Expanded and sustained conscious awareness;
2. Improved clarity or mental function;
3. Easier access and allowing of authentic emotions;
4. Greater capacity for a 'holographic' or multi-point reality
to be sustained.
5. Enriched somatic (body-centered) intelligence and awareness.
There is a growing list of individuals trained in facilitating a Breath of the Soul session for you. They may or may not be involved with other spheres of the Soulsign work (astrology, soundwork, crystalwork, gematria, vibrational healing), as the Breath Practice is not dependent on another modality to be of benefit.
